Ifs to Krzysztof Ostrowski (Freeze) i Mateusz Wysocki (Fischerle). Projekt porusza się między różnymi estetykami, począwszy od brudnego ambientu, przez footwork, dub i hip-hop. Nagrania Ifs realizowane są w trakcie improwizowanych sesji.

Freeze
Bydgoski muzyk, instrumentalista i producent,. Krzysztof Ostrowski Freeze w swojej twórczości sięga po brzmienia techno, eksperyment, ambient, dub, jazz, kraut czy improwizację. Skłania się ku eksperymentalnym i analogowym rozwiązaniom, jak syntezatory modularne czy samplowanie dźwięków z taśm VHS. Występuje solowo, bądź w ramach audiowizualnego duetu Soundscape Mirror z artystą wizualnym Tomem Skofem. Wspólnie z Mateuszem Wysockim (Fischerle) tworzy duet IFS. Nagrywał i występował m.in. z Piotrem Cisakiem, Grzegorzem Pleszyńskim, improwizowaną orkiestrą Come Down to Earth. Zadebiutował pod koniec zeszłego roku winylowy materiałem w wytwórni Jacka Sienkiewicza – Recognition, a w kwietniu tego roku ukazał się album w oficynie Pawlacz Perski. Jeszcze w tym roku planowane jest wydanie drugiego albumu duetu IFS oraz nowej audiowizualnej odsłony Soundscape Mirror, która swoją premierę miała na tegorocznej edycji festiwalu Cocart.

Artysta, który od wielu lat przełamuje gatunkowe ramy i układa z nich własną wielowarstwową dźwiękową masę. Mateusz Wysocki, poza działalnością wydawniczą w Pawlaczu Perskim, kojarzony jest głównie ze swoich produkcji jako Fischerle. Jego muzyka wydawana była przez niezliczoną ilość wytwórni polskich i zagranicznych takich jak: U-Cover, Qunabu, Wounded Knife, Where To Now?, Monotype Records, Czaszka Records, Pointless Geometry. Produkcje Fischerle to opływające w detalach plastyczne konstrukty, mieniące się szczegółami zatopionymi w masywnych przestrzennych basach oraz pokaz niebanalnej wyobraźni i wielopoziomowej skomplikowanej architektury.
